Agoo’s bid hopeful in Regional Search for Child-Friendly Municipality

Updated records on state of children report, conducive learning, clean play areas, tidy surroundings, safe thoroughfares and dwellings and sanctuary of child-friendly citizens. These were some of the areas assessed by the Regional Validatin

g Team of this year’s Presidential Award for Child-Friendly Municipality (Regional Level) held last July 25-26, 2012.

Being the Champion in last year’s search for child-friendly municipality in Region I, Agoo aims to retain the same feat and targets to redeem itself in the national level wherein Agoo was the Second Runner-Up.

Agoo got the unanimous affirmation from the validators after the documents review, interview with various focal persons, on-site assessment and multi-media presentation. Five barangays were also validated as to the records, facilities and child-friendliness practices.

Official result will be announced this August.
